Renton Rotary Awards
December Teachers of the Month

Constance Nelson is a special education teacher at Tiffany Park Elementary.

Nelson attended California Polytechnic State University, in San Luis Obispo, CA where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, she also attended Pacific Northwest College of Art and earned a BFA in Painting and Drawing.

Nelson continued her education at Heritage University where she earned Masters Degree in Education.

This is Nelson’s fourth year teaching in Renton.

Rotary members recognize three Renton School District school teachers each month. Other teachers honored this month include Erin Hall, Seventh Grade Teacher at McKnight Middle School, and Amber Hronek, First Grade Teacher at Campbell Hill Elementary.

As part of the recognition, teachers attend Rotary’s Teacher of the Month recognition luncheon held At Maplewood Golf Course. Each teacher is introduced, makes a brief comment about their school and classroom.

They also receive $200 to be used for classroom supplies, or instructional
materials.
