Woman Drowns in Sammamish's Beaver Lake

A woman accidently drowned last night in Beaver Lake, city of Sammamish.
The incident occurred about 8:15 PM. The 33 year-old victim left her house nearby and walked to Beaver Lake Park in the 25100 block of SE 24th. She was apparently upset over an argument with her husband.

A friend saw the woman walk into the water, then disappear from view. 9-1-1 was called and a Sheriff's diver and Eastside Fire & Rescue found the woman at 9:15 PM about 25 feet from shore. Medics were unable to revive her.

The name of the victim will be released by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
