Fairwood United Methodist Church
Offers Chamber Music Afternoon
Fairwood-area neighbors are invited to an afternoon of chamber music.
Matt Johnston, organist at Fairwood Community United Methodist Church, and some of his musical colleagues will gathered for this afternoon of sensory treats.
Featured will be a small flute ensemble and a clarinet choir with the full range of the clarinet family. Some of the clarinetists include current and former Kent School District educators as well as members of the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra.
The event is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Fairwood United Methodist Church, 15255 SE Fairwood Blvd., Renton.
The public is cordially invited to attend this free program.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a donation of a non-perishable canned food item for the Renton Food Bank and will be greatly appreciated.
