Hobart Man Shot
King County Sheriff Office reported that a Hobart area man was shot once on the leg about 10:30 AM today. He was able to call 9-1-1 despite his injuries. The suspect fled before deputies arrived.
The victim, 49 years old, lived in a house in the 21600 block of 294th Ave SE, east of Maple Valley in unincorporated King County. His injuries were serious, but not thought to be life-threatening. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear, but it appears the victim knew his assailant.
The case remains under investigation.
