Renton Rotary Awards
April Teacher of the Month

Matt Randall is a Science/Career and Technical Education
teacher at Lindbergh High School. Randall attended the University of Washington where he majored in Physics and Applied Math.

Randall has also completed his Masters Degree in Teaching.

In addition to being a favorite at Lindbergh, Randall is a part of a teaching and community leader team of individuals who lead the highly acclaimed Robotics Program at Lindbergh. This is Randall's second year at Lindbergh.

Rotary members recognize three Renton School District school teachers each month. Other teachers honored this month include Michelle Olander, seventh grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Dimmitt Middle School, and Kerrie Shimizu, first grade teacher at Kennydale Elementary.

As part of the recognition, teachers attend Rotary’s Teacher of the Month recognition luncheon held At Maplewood Golf Course. Each teacher is introduced, makes a brief comment about their school and classroom.

They also receive $200 to be used for classroom supplies, or instructional
materials.
