Fairwood Area Kent SD Board Member Resigns
Feb. 19 Deadline for Replacement Applications

and includes the following schools: Carriage Crest, Emerald Park, Fairwood, Glenridge, Lake Youngs, Ridgewood, Meeker, Northwood, and Kentridge. The candidate appointed to the position will serve until the term expires in November 2011. Eligible candidates must be citizens of the United States, qualified voters, and have a permanent residence within the boundaries of District No. 2. Consistent with Washington State law and the State Board of Education regulations, the selection for the vacant board position will be made by the incumbent board members.

Applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. on February 19 at the Kent School District Administration Building at 12033 SE 256th Street, Kent, WA, 98030.
