Renton Rotary Awards
March Teachers of the Month

Sharon Judge is a First Grade Teacher at Benson Hill Elementary School. Judge attended Portland State University, where she received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and History.

Before joining Renton Schools, Judge taught in a migrant school in the Midwest, where she taught a new group of students every three months.

She also taught special education to students in a private cerebral palsy center.

This is Judge's 19th year teaching in the Renton School District.

Rotary members recognize three Renton School District school teachers each month. Other teachers honored this month include Marcia Lynch, Program Manager at Sartori Education Center, and Erin Jacob, a preschool special education teacher with the Renton Early Childhood Education Program.

As part of the recognition, teachers attend Rotary’s Teacher of the Month recognition luncheon held At Maplewood Golf Course. Each teacher is introduced, makes a brief comment about their school and classroom.

They also receive $200 to be used for classroom supplies, or instructional
materials.
