Tessa Concepcion, senior at Kentridge High School, was selected as one of the Kent Rotary Students of the Month. Concepcionhas been involved in a variety of activities including ASB, Link Crew, Game of Life, National Honor Society, and Stage Crew. She has also been involved in STEP into the Future Tech Expo, Bridging the Gap, Visifest, Varsity Soccer Theater, and has worked as a math tutor. |
Concepcion plans to attend the University of Washington and plans to major in Biology or Mathematics. She eventually would like to be a pediatrician.

Stephan Yhann, senior at Kentridge High School, was selected as the second Kent Rotary Student of the Month. Yahnn has been actively involved in student government, serving as Class President for the Class of 2010 for the past three years and has served on the administration's Learning Improvement Committee. Yahnn is also a member of Boy Scout Troop 453, the KR Charger Speech and Debate Team and has volunteered at Cub Scout Camps and the National Youth Leadership Training. |
Yahnn would like to attend either WSU, UW, or Northwestern University, majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science. He would like to join the US Foreign Service or work for a US Senator or Congressperson.
Students and their parents are honored guests at a regular Rotary event.
